Pearl Islands
The Pearl Islands are a group of islands south of the main continent. Much of the islands their flora and fauna is resembling of that of the feywild. This has to do with the influence on the islands from the gate to the feywild which is located somewhere on the islands.
The islands are located in the coral sea, south of the white sand beach.
The capital of the Pearl Islands is Idah, it sits in the middle of the largest island, almost in the exact middle of the coral sea.
inhabitants
Many different races can be found on the islands. Around half the population consists of elves. The other half is a mix of gnomes, halflings, genasi, tabaxi, lizardfolk, tortles and sometimes creatures of the feywild itself that have crossed over into this plane.
The magical aura of the island has influenced the animals and monsters on the island as well, altering their appearance and abilities.
Special Characteristics
Recent discoveries have shown that some magical abilities are amplified in this part of the world, while others seem to be weakened or even nullified.
There are also many plants that grow in these island that each have special properties which make them useful for potions or enchanting, making them one of the main export products of the islands.
Reign and social status
The Pearl islands are governed by a ruler only known as Ebrim. Most people have neither seen nor hear him in person. It is said that only his most trusted advisors speak with him, but even they do not know the physical form of Ebrim.
Ebrim has ruled the islands for the past few hundred years, creating a small, peacefull and prosperous utopia in a world that still tries to recover from its scars.
There are no real social classes or status on the island.
